Case Studies
Allied Healthcare
Corporate Web Solution
Allied Healthcare Group (AHG) is the UK’s premier supplier of care workers and nursing professionals to the healthcare industry and the NHS. They have been trading for over 30
years, have a national network of 109 branches and are listed on the NASDAQ index (ticker AHCI).
AHG required a solution that offered visitors access to a comprehensive information resource, the ability to apply for jobs on-line and the option to create a searchable personal
profile. In addition the site provides corporate information and acts as a marketing tool for new business. The client was keen to be able to manage the content and jobs on the
website themselves. We implemented a lightweight CMS solution which gives AHG complete control of this.
Omnisia also host the solution and provide a fully managed service.
This piece of work is currently in test, the client is delighted with the quality of the product and our management of the process. The site is due to go live by the end of January 2009.
Russell & Hodge
Revenue Share E-commerce Solution
Russell and Hodge (R&H) are makers of the finest bespoke shirts. A 20 year apprenticeship on London’s Jermyn Street makes Owner/Manager Kerry Ford one the most experienced and skilled
shirt makers in England. R&H have made shirts for David Beckham, Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, Kevin Klein, Jason Statham and Anthony Hopkins.
R&H had a one page non-transactional website for a number of years and whilst it generated some sales leads it was obvious that they were missing out on potential revenue. Whilst R&H
are experts in shirt making, they needed a partner who specialised in online trading.
Omnisia recognised the potential for online trading and worked with R&H to develop an e-commerce solution and online marketing strategy. Omnisia understood that an e-commerce solution of
quality would not easily fit into the tight budget of a traditional retail business. Our creative approach to commercials helped both parties agree on a revenue share agreement, which shared the cost and risk.
Omnisia developed the full solution including design, photography, development, hosting, management and online marketing.
Openshaws
Collaborative Website Build
Openshaws are a premier supplier of high quality fish, poulty and game to the restaurant and catering industry. Founded in 1893 and based in Bolton and Birmingham they are able to supply to the UK.
Openshaws had a website which provided a basic point of presence albeit with a dated design. They were looking for a clean and modern refreshed site which better represented their brand and provided an online point of marketing presence.
Omnisia worked with Openshaws designers collaboratively to implement the new design. We added the ability to request further information and provided a panel to display the catch of the week. Openshaws
wanted the ability to refresh the catch of the week listings and to be easily able to change their Product Guide, Market Report and Seasonality Guide. Omnisia provided a lightweight CMS solution to edit the
catch of the week and setup and FTP site to upload new reports and guides to which automatically update the website. Omnisia also host the website for Openshaws.
